Virginia authorities are still on the lookout for the driver of a red four-door pickup that caused a motorcycle accident last month on U.S. 250. According to police, the 58-year-old motorcyclist was traveling on U.S. 250 on his Harley Davidson, and the pickup was approaching from the opposite direction. The pickup made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, causing the rider to swerve off the road and into a ditch.

The victim ejected from the motorcycle and landed in the ditch. A helicopter transported the injured rider to the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. A police spokesperson said the victim slipped in and out of consciousness after the accident. Police have been unable to locate any witnesses to the accident, and they request that anyone with information call the Virginia State Police.
