Layne Lightfoot is an attorney in the Washington D.C. office of Koonz McKenney Johnson & DePaolis LLP.
Ms. Lightfoot earned her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as an Editor of the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review and worked as a student-attorney in the school’s Mediation Clinic, guiding parties through alternative dispute resolution to reach a settlement. Her student note article was selected for publication in the Review. She holds a B.A. in English, also from The University of Alabama.
Following law school, Ms. Lightfoot clerked for the Honorable Judge Jackson Parker of the D.C. Superior Court.
She is a member of the D.C. Bar, the American Association for Justice, and the D.C. Trial Lawyers Association.
