The attorneys at Koonz, McKenney, Johnson & DePaolis L.L.P. are very proud to announce that associate Kelly Fisher recently agreed to co-chair the 2015 Food from the Bar Campaign.

Fisher, a personal injury attorney, represents victims of car accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, medical malpractice, and negligent security, hiring and training.

With the position, Fisher will collect donations for the Capital Area Food Bank. It should be noted that Fisher also served on the steering committee for the 2014 campaign.

According to the Food Bank, the 2014 campaign worked with more than 30 law firms, law schools and legal associations, and collected over $130,000 for the Food Bank, which equals 300,000 meals for children, seniors and families facing hunger in the D.C. metropolitan area.

In addition to her work with the Food Bank, Fisher recently organized a team on behalf of the Women’s Bar Association for the National Race to End Women’s Cancer.

Fisher ran the 5K along with Erika Thompson, a paralegal with the law firm. Partner Paulette Chapman and associate Kasey Murray also donated money to the race.

Fisher’s husband, Joe, also a member of the WBA’s Race Team, was the second place finisher overall.
